Nordic Languages Initiative is growing! We are always looking for exceptional Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, Finnish or Icelandic language teachers. You should have a passion for your country’s traditions, culture and even food to further endorse your country.
Your enthusiasm carries a lot of weight with our busy students, so we hope you have the right personality. We prefer if you have some experience teaching adults in a classroom setting. It will be even better if you’ve taught another language and know what to expect.
Our classes take place at a central location in Toronto, Ontario Canada near public transportation (TTC subway or streetcar). These are part-time positions with an opportunity to meet some very interesting people. For each course taught, you must be able to commit to 2 hours a class session in the evenings, once a week for 12 weeks. You must be able to work in Canada with a valid work permit.
