Announcement – Swedish Level II

Because of a new job opportunity, Annika Bergdahl will be leaving NLI. Annika’s last class is next week, Tuesday March 8th. We wish her the very best in her new job! The good news is that our much beloved Rosita Esgard will be filling in and teaching the rest of the classes!

Since we cancelled this week’s class, we have now added an additional day to our schedule. Last day of class for Swedish Level II will be Tuesday, April 12 in the same room and location. We apologize again for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Announcement – New teacher

We are delighted to announce a new teacher who will begin Swedish classes for Spring 2016. His name is Pehr Englen and he is currently working on his PhD in History. Besides having experience teaching and taking courses in pedagogy, he enjoys learning new languages and has an eye for culture. He once worked as an intern for the Swedish Embassy in Great Britain to cover contemporary Swedish culture, which is perfect for our Swedish courses! Pehr will be joining a couple of our Swedish Level I and II classes this Winter 2016 to introduce himself and to get a feel for our class style. Please welcome him to NLI!

News – Danish and Norwegian

More exciting news, because of our growth and demand for new Nordic languages, we are already planning for Danish and Norwegian Level I classes this Fall 2016! We are currently seeking fun and positive language teachers who will inspire and motivate our wonderful students. Stay tuned for more information.

We are very grateful for the opportunity to help teach you Swedish and are very excited for all that the future brings!
